| If you are looking for a more relaxing visit to Lochaber
you are spoiled for choice. Lochaber has a number of interesting
museums, a sea life centre in Mallaig, a fantastic fossil and jem
stone collection in Corpach, a natural heritage centre in Glencoe,
sweety factory in north Ballachulish, a great brewery in Kinlochleven,
learn about the Jacobites NTS Glenfinnan.
There are several slow and leisurely boat trips - one which takes
you out to the isles of Eigg and Canna. There's a new art gallery
opening sometime soon.
Glen Nevis Visitor Centre offers a variety of info about Ben Nevis
and sometimes has guided trails which you can join to discover
the secrets of the Glen.
