Fort William Mountain Festival

Mountains inspire us all in different ways - and you won't find a better example of the diversity of mountain culture than the Fort William Mountain Festival - an annual festival of lectures, demonstrations, exhibitions and films.

But don't just spectate - participate! We've got loads of ways for you to get active and involved, so grab the chance to join guided walks, skiing and boarding lessons, climbing and winter-walking workshops or explore your creative side on a writers' afternoon or music workshop.

The Mountain Festival has been a huge success since its first days and is now an important fixture in the Lochaber calendar. Get yourself to Fort William and stay for the Festival - this is a must do for anyone interested in the outdoors and mountain culture.
