| Roy Bridge is a few miles north-east of Spean Bridge
on the A86, which passes along Loch Laggan and onto A9.
The village is associated with Glen Roy which has prominent glacial
features known locally as the Parallel Roads - marked lines on
the hillsides which show the geological history of the ice and
water levels from times past. Glen Roy is a nice place - very quiet
and wild - with several sites of historical interest.
Roy Bridge village is a popular holiday area with a few well-established
self-catering holiday businesses, bed and breakfast and two hotels
and one Inn. We particularly recommend The Stronlossit Inn for
good food, good service, real fires and real ale!
