Lochaber Yacht Club
Lochaber Yacht Club was established 1954 over at Corpach but today the Club enjoys its new sailing clubhouse on the shore of Loch Linnhe in Fort William.
We go sailing lots and every year teach people to sail who join our sailing club and then go on to sail club dinghies or they buy their own boats.
Sailing is a great sport and provides good all round intellectual and physical stimulus. Everytime we go out for a sail it's different and that's what makes sailing fun. Also, to be able to move across the water with relative ease and no noise is wonderful.
If you'd like to find out more about sailing, please come down to the clubhouse on Mondays, Wednesdays or Thursdays. You should find someone to ask about the club. You can also email our sectretary Chris Strong who will do his best to help you. We have a busy website with lots of info about the things we do, so please take a look.
Visiting Yachts are welcome to come ashore and use our facilities if there is a clubmember around. We have a visitor mooring available on a first come basis.
